The ‘The Istanbul of My Imagination – It’s Either a Ferry or a Bird’ exhibition displays a selection of the colour photographs in Ara Güler’s book Yitirilmiş Renkler (‘Vanished Colours’), published in 1995. Also on show, in addition to various ephemera, is the mock-up of the book that Ara Güler put together himself; it contains the drawings he made of the photographs that were to be printed on the various pages.
